Traveling to other countries from Germany is one of the great advantages of studying in this country, whether on vacation or even on the weekend.
With its convenient location in the center of the continent, Germany is bordered by nine countries: the Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg, France, Switzerland, Austria, Denmark, the Czech Republic, and Poland. In addition, an extensive railway and road network connects the country with all its neighbors. Many of these landlines extend across more than one nation.
But the possibility of traveling quickly and cheaply to other countries from Germany is not restricted to land transport. There are dozens of low-cost airlines offering flights all over Europe from the airports in Frankfurt, Munich, Berlin, Düsseldorf, Hamburg, Stuttgart, and Cologne-Bonn.
In addition, Germany itself is filled with interesting destinations. There are options for all areas of interest, from historic castles to skyscrapers, from forests to beer halls. And the stations in Berlin or Frankfurt are the starting point for many cities throughout the country, just a few hours away by train or by car or bus via the federal highway network (Autobahn).
This all makes a study period in Germany a much broader and enriching cultural and personal experience. And we at Germanics want you to intensely experience all the opportunities that your time in Germany can offer. So get in touch with us.
